Peggy Cypert

Peggy Sue Frazier Cypert was 92 when she went home to her Savior, January 22, 2026. Survived by her son, Mark Patton and wife, Jennifer; Granddaughter Rachel Semone’ Patton Landry and husband, Ryan; Grandson, Chase Townsend Patton; Nephews, Glen Frazier and wife, Terry, Greg Frazier and wife, Mary; Niece, Sheila Frazier Vaughen and husband, Ted; Great-Nephews, Gary Frazier and wife, Marie, Grant Frazier, Theodore Vaughen, Tyler Vaughen, James Dokken and wife, Maritza, Chris Dokken and wife, Liza. Preceded in death by her Father, George Thomas Frazier and wife, Lillian; Daughter, Semone’ Patton; Husband, Billy Joe Cypert; Brother, George Douglas Frazier and wife, Barbara Gene Rupnow Frazier; Step-Parents, Charlie Molesworth and wife, Virginia; Granddaughter, Linda Darnell Patton; and Great-Nephew, Gene Frazier. Peggy Sue loved the Lord and His church! She shared her devotion through singing, teaching and writing. At the age of four, Peggy walked to church on Sundays. She was so excited after church to share God’s Word, she would run home and preach to the chickens. Peggy was baptized at The Church of Christ at the early age of seven establishing her lifelong commitment to Jesus. At nine she had her first job working at the community pool snack bar. In 1951 she graduated from Milby High School and was a proud member of the ROTC. In Dallas, she became the first female insurance underwriter. She also taught ballroom dance. Peggy moved to Houston in 1967 with Mark. In Houston, she worked for Porta-Kamp and Globe Stores. She purchased a home with her single income to provide for Mark, her pride and joy. When Peggy married Bill, the three of them spent weekends collecting antiques. In the 70’s, she and Bill opened an antique and collectables business in Houston Heights and loved buying and selling. Peggy and Bill spent many nights and weekends teaching and spreading the word, writing plays and songs for church and Leadership Training for Christ. In 1981, Peggy, Mark and Bill moved to Tomball where they established a brick distributorship, Town & Country Brick and Supply, Inc. Peggy served as the VP and secretary but her true passion was selling brick. She would always say, “The brick on your home is the most important decision you make when building.” Peggy loved to work and sold brick until she was 86. In 2017 Peggy moved into The Heritage. There she continued to work, establishing a church service for the residents on Sundays and making sure everyone knew what time to come hear the Word and praise God in song. Peggy started a small group who would go to the Memory Care wing to sing songs and lift spirits. Peggy was a member of Camp Fire Girls, LaSertoma and DAR. Peggy’s life was defined by her relationship with Christ and her commitment to family.
