Sharon Cothran

On the evening of June 12th at the young age of 55 Sharon Kay Beard Cothran passed away quietly at home. Earlier that day she had worked hard to gather her 4th of July decorations from her craft room and get them displayed. Afterwards she laid down to rest and it was then her angels came for her. May she rest in peace for all eternity. Sharon is survived by her loving and caring husband, Danny, her son Ryan; grandson Luke, brother Glenn & wife Tammie, sister-in-law Mary, father & mother in-law Danny & Hazel and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins who will miss her greatly. Sharon was a loving and caring soul who loved her Lord and savior and always kept her faith. The thing she cherished most in life was her family, especially Danny, Ryan & Stevie. Then came Luke her grandson. Her face lit up with joy anytime she spoke of him. Quote from Danny “You will never find a sweeter or kinder person on this earth other than Sharon”. He loved and cared for her deeply. Sharon and Glenn would have long phone conversations, some silly & fun, other serious ones when she spoke about her faith in God and how she missed her son Stevie knowing she would see him again someday. Sharon took great pride in her home both inside and outside and loved all her plants and flowers in their yard. With Danny’s help she had the prettiest yard on the block ”always”! Now the inside looked like a miniature Hobby Lobby, and she decorated for all occasions and was very talented. At one point in her life she worked alongside her family as a dispatcher in their trucking business, traveling back and forth to Arkansas and north Texas. She loved going to the beach with Mary & Suzanne and they had many fun filled trips to Galveston. Since she loved the beach so much, as a thank you for caring for their mother during her illness Glenn arranged a trip for her and Danny to go to Cabo San Lucas, and she said it was wonderful fun. Sharon Kay you left us too soon, you will be missed by many and are loved by all; may you dance in heaven with your Stevie boy.
