Matthew Jaroszewicz

Matthew Jaroszewicz, of Magnolia, TX, age 66, passed away on December 28, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Detroit, to parents Mark and Christine Jaroszewicz, he is survived by his beloved life partner AlohaDebs, and cherished brothers Stefan and Jan, and sister Anne Jaroszewicz. He is further survived by treasured nephew and nieces, Chris Jaroszewicz, Kathryn J Yuma, and Abby Jaros, as well as beloved companions Scoobie the dog, and cats Spider and Kitusha. An Army veteran, Matt enlisted at the age of 25, serving his country with distinction through multiple tours and as a combat veteran, earning an honorable discharge. Following his service, Matt pursued his lifelong passion for music. Widely respected for his musicianship, he toured the music scenes of New York, Florida, and Texas, sharing his love for music with fellow artists and audiences far and wide. Matt’s business and personal travels took him across the globe, including time spent in India, Germany, Central and South America. The majority of Matt’s career was spent in the aviation and automotive industries. In 2017, Matt joined Hunter Engineering where he achieved amazing success while forming numerous strong personal and working relationships. The Jaroszewicz family members want to express a special thanks to the entire Hunter organization for their support in not only helping Matt realize success during his active years with them, but especially for their unwavering and warm support during his extended illness. Matt was a master storyteller, captivating everyone who had the privilege of hearing his tales. His humor, wit, and ability to connect with people were unmatched. He had a strong, and sometimes stubborn, spirit and was fiercely protective of those he loved. Beneath his larger-than-life presence was a kind and gentle soul who always put his family first. And as the youngest of four siblings, Matt delighted in supporting his nieces and nephew in their life endeavors and surprised them in their early years by dressing up as Santa Claus and performing magic tricks that left them in awe. He fought valiantly against the cancer that invaded his body, showing courage, strength and positivity every step of the way. Matt’s resilience and determination were a testament to the indomitable will he carried throughout his life and were an inspiration to us all. Matt will be remembered for his unforgettable stories, the music he's made and played with so many, his infectious laughter, and his unwavering love for his family. He was an extraordinary man who touched the hearts of many and will be deeply missed. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be announced at a later date.
