Kathy Sabin

Kathy (Sweet) Sabin, 68, of Magnolia, TX passed peacefully September 22, 2022 in The Woodlands, TX surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born September 30, 1953 in Lexington, NE, daughter of Glenna "Darlene" (Wind) Weber and Vernon Sweet. Kathy lived in the Lexington, Cozad and Gothenburg area until she married her soulmate, Terry E. Sabin, on December 19th, 1970 in Gothenburg, NE. Together with their daughters, as a military family, they lived in Texas, Alaska, Oklahoma and Louisiana. Kathy's special interests over the years included sewing, crocheting, baking and gardening. She most enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and many friends. Survivors include her husband, Terry E. Sabin; two daughters, Dana (Chris) Henderson, Teresa (Steven) Cooper; 4 Grandchildren - Terry A. Sabin, Chelsea J. Henderson, Dakota G. Cooper and Dalton J. Cooper. 2 Great Grandchildren - Reagan A. McCarty and Jacob A. Jones. Nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She will be missed by many. Kathy was preceded in death by her grandparents; father Vernon Sweet; mother Darlene Weber; 3 sisters Marlene, Kristi and Jackie; four brothers Larry, Gary, Terry and Robert. A celebration of life service will be held in the near future. Details pending.
