Today we gather to celebrate the life of Buddy LeBlanc, a man whose presence enriched everyone around him. Buddy had a way of making people feel seen, valued, and appreciated. His warmth, humor, and generosity were constant in a world that can often feel rushed and indifferent. A man whose courage, warmth, and zest for life touched everyone he met. Buddy was a rare combination of strength and heart, someone who lived fully, loved deeply, and gave freely of himself. Let us celebrate him by cherishing the adventures, love, laughter, he so enjoyed. Buddy was a proud Vietnam Marine veteran. He served his country with bravery, courage and honor, facing challenges we couldn’t imagine. His time in the Marines shaped his resilience, discipline, and unwavering sense of duty, but it never diminished his kindness, humor, or capacity for love. Beyond his service, Buddy was also a remarkable professional. As the top salesman, he didn’t just meet expectations, he consistently exceeded them, earning respect through his dedication, integrity, and skill. His drive and ability to connect with people set him apart. But even more than his achievements, it was the way he achieved them with honesty, charm, and that signature warmth that drew people to him. His mom always told him he could sell ice to an Eskimo! Buddy was a man who embraced life. Buddy’s true spirit came alive outside of work. He loved the beach, boating, and scuba diving. Exploring the depths of the ocean with the same curiosity and courage he brought to life. He loved riding horses, feeling the wind and freedom beneath him, a reflection of his adventurous spirit. He loved wood carving, turning ordinary pieces of wood into something meaningful and beautiful with his own hands. In many ways, that reflected who Buddy was, someone who saw potential and beauty where others might not, someone patient enough to shape something lasting out of life’s rough edges. And Buddy found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved sitting beside a fire, sharing a toast with family and friends, enjoying a good drink, and simply savoring the moment. Those quiet gatherings, filled with laughter, stories, and the people he loved most, where Buddy was truly at peace. He understood something many people spend a lifetime trying to learn—that happiness is often found not in grand moments, but in the simple gift of being together. Above all, he found the love of his life “his beautiful wife Mary”. Meeting Mary changed Buddy in the most beautiful way, it gave him a friend for all of life’s adventures. Their love was genuine, deep, and something that those of us who knew them could see shining in every smile, every glance, and every story they shared. Their love was an example of love, devotion, partnership, and joy. The love Buddy had for his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren was undeniable. It could be seen in the pride in his eyes when he spoke about them and in the countless moments he shared with them. His family was one of the greatest joys of his life, and he made sure they always knew how deeply they were loved. Buddy’s life reminds us that success isn’t measured just by accomplishments, but by the passions we pursue, the love we give, and the lives we touch. As we honor Buddy today, let us remember him with smiles as wide as his laughter, hearts as open as his, and a spirit as adventurous as his soul. Rest in peace, Buddy LeBlanc.
