Frankie Smith

Frankie Schutlz Smith “Nana”, 76, of Magnolia, Texas went to be with the Lord on October 21, 2024. She was born on May 5, 1948 in Sinton, Texas, the daughter of Walter and Millie Schultz. Frankie graduated from Sinton High School in 1966. She met the love of her life Monte Eugene Smith in Sinton while he was stationed in Beeville, Texas. They were united in marriage on September 18, 1965 in Sinton, Texas. They lived in Sinton for a few years then moved to Houston, Texas. They raised their family in Houston and lived in Magnolia for the past 28 years. Gardening and keeping a tidy yard filled with lots of beautiful plants and flowers. She loved her children, but especially loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and spending quality time together. She loved having gatherings with family and friends. She was Nana to everyone that knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Millie Schultz, sister Mary Frances Schultz Anderson Baxter, son Monte Dean Smith, daughter Heather Smith Hamby, great-grandsons Frankie Eugene Hamby and Kingston Michael James Hamby, mother-in-law Frankie Smith, and father-in-law Monte Bernard Smith. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Monte Eugene Smith; son Keith Smith and wife, Alicia; daughter Stephanie Smith Stepanski and husband, Mark; grandchildren Monte Aarron Smith, Chris Smith, Brent Smith, Amanda Smith, Emily Smith, Keith Montgomery Smith Jr. (Bo), Catherine Benavidez, Laine (Buck) Stepanski, Lana Stepanski, Trey Hamby, Taylor Hamby, Tamaryn Hamby; great-grandchildren Hunter Smith, Paisley Smith, David Smith, Adelynn Smith, Nico Smith, Sadie Montes, Ellie Montes, Grayson Montes, Lanayah Hamby, and Heather Dyess. Many cousins, and numerous nieces and nephews and her precious dogs Jasper and Loretta Lynn also survive Frankie. We want to thank all the doctors, nurses, medical staff and life flight personnel of Memorial Hermann Woodlands and Medical Center for providing compassionate care for our Nana. The Addison family and staff of Magnolia Funeral Home extend condolences to Frankie's family and friends during this difficult time.
