Connie Seals

Connie Joe Seals of Sugar Land, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2025, at the age of 87. Born in Longview, Texas, Connie lived her life fully and on her own terms, surrounded by love and family. She is survived by her children, Bobby Gene Seals, Jr. and his wife Sherri; Lisa Jo Seals Adair and her husband Zeke; and Brett Tyson Seals and his wife Ashley. Connie was a devoted grandmother to Morgan Byerly and her husband Tim, Trey Seals, Cole Wesolick and his wife Kate, Madelyn Crosby and her husband Cody, Cade Wesolick, Zoey Seals, and Liam Seals. She was also a cherished great-grandmother to Audrey Byerly, Beau Byerly, Charlotte Wesolick, Callan Wesolick, and Clare Wesolick. She is also survived by her sisters, Jen Permenter and her husband Wally, Carol Faychak and her husband Al, and Jan Haynes Kindel. Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Gene Seals; her son, Matthew Bryan Seals; her parents, George and Goldie Haynes; her sister, Wanda Titchen; and her brothers, James Haynes and Jerald Haynes. Connie had a lifelong passion for sports. She played basketball—earning All-District honors—and volleyball in high school, all while serving as Salutatorian and Homecoming Queen. It’s no wonder our Dad fell hard for her! She was her kids’ and grandkids’ biggest fan, always cheering them on in their games. If the Houston Astros were playing, you could be sure she was watching. Connie’s spirit, joy, and warmth will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She lived her life fully, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will endure in the hearts of her family and friends. A celebration of Connie’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Magnolia Funeral Home, 811 South Magnolia Blvd., Magnolia, Texas 77355. Family and friends are invited to attend and share in remembering her beautiful life.
