Candi Scott

Our world will never be the same as Candi Juanita Scott, 64, found peace in her courageous journey with brain cancer on January 26, 2026. Throughout her battle, Candi exemplified grace and positivity that inspired everyone fortunate enough to know her before this cruel illness gradually claimed her memories. Our Beloved Candi was born in Houston, Tx to John & Juanita Smith. Her childhood started in Houston, Tx, then ventured to Phoenix, Az for a short period, then back to Houston, Tx. She is an Alumni of Spring High School which where she met her loving soul mate, her rock, her everything, her Randy. Randy & Candi found their love for each other at the Western Swing on February 17 after a few twirls around the dance floor. They later joined hands in marriage on September 27, 1980 at Spring Woods United Methodist Church. They soon then welcomed the birth of their Babygirl, Stephanie where they moved to Magnolia, Tx and began their lives as a little family building memories and creating a legacy. Candi is preceded in death by her beloved Mother: Juanita Smith as well as her loving In-Laws: Donald & Betty Scott. She is survived by strong, faithful loving Daddy, John Smith, her devoted, Amazing, Steadfast, Husband, Randy Scott; her Daughter, Stephanie Roe, (husband Robert); Grandchildren: EmaLeigh Wright, (husband Parker), Jayden Roe, Chase Roe, Angelo Rodriguez, & Brooklynn Roe; Great granddaughter Scarlet Wright; and her fur-babies Sammie Jo & Ellie Belle. Candi standing alongside the love of her life Randy could always be found having a good time with friends, family, co-workers, whomever wanted to partake. Throughout her life she was a source of unwavering strength, guidance, to family & friends. She loved with all her heart and all she had, leaving nothing behind with what had her attention and focus. You could always find her supporting Randy to be the best version he could be, pushing Stephanie to be better than the day before, rooting for anything her loving grand babies were in the middle of, or sitting on the back porch enjoying her dogs, watching the deer, and admiring her plants. She had a talent for crafting that no project was impossible. Candi shared her loving, passion for Animals as she served clients for more than 10 years at Prestonwood Animal Clinic as a Vet Tech. As we honor Candi, we all should take comfort in knowing she is made whole in the presence of the Lord, free of pain, no more suffering, her tired body is now healed as she sits alongside her Mom. God needed a hero, so he took Ours! Randy & Stephanie will honor her wishes of cremation which will include the spreading of her ashes at River Crossing at Garner State Park at a later time.
