Brenda Addison Booth

Brenda Addison Booth was born in Channelview, Texas to Hugh and Carol Addison. She passed from this world on August 8, 2026, surrounded by family and friends. Brenda’s life was marked by deep faith, strong relationships, and a joyful spirit that touched everyone she met. After moving to Magnolia, TX, in seventh grade, she became active in her church youth group and played saxophone in the marching band, quickly forming friendships that would last a lifetime. She was known as a true social butterfly, able to connect with people in every stage of life. Brenda maintained lifelong friendships, including a remarkable 45-year bond with her best friend, Christy, who remained faithfully by her side through every season of life, including her final days. Her friendships extended into every community she joined. Brenda’s faith was the foundation of her life. She was deeply involved in her church communities and had a gift for making others feel seen, valued, and loved. She formed special relationships across generations. Her personality was vibrant and unforgettable. Brenda was known for her contagious laugh, her love of fashion—especially bold statement earrings—and her honest, feisty nature. People always knew where they stood with her, and she brought energy and authenticity into every room she entered. Above all, Brenda’s greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted mother who loved her children fiercely and made their home a place filled with laughter, humor, and togetherness. She and her former husband Jay shared more than forty years of marriage, raising their family through countless adventures, including trips to the Frio River, Colorado, and the beach. Their home was rich with life, filled with cookouts, games, and the kind of joyful chaos that only a close family can create. Brenda was also a gifted cook, known for meals and traditions that brought her family together. As a grandmother, or “Nana,” she found even greater joy. She was a constant presence at her grandchildren’s events and created a home where they felt deeply loved, welcomed, and free to be themselves. In her final years, Brenda found renewed joy and companionship with Brian Booth, who brought her comfort, laughter, and peace. Their time together, though brief, was deeply meaningful. Brenda is survived by her husband, Brian Booth; her children, Jameson Hanley and Jenna Palmer; her grandchildren; her siblings; and many extended family members and friends who loved her dearly. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sons, Jason and Jonathan Hanley. Brenda’s life was a reflection of love, faith, and joy. Her legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched, the family she cherished, and the memories she created.
