Shirley Jones

Shirley Delores Jones was called home on June 19, 2022 at the age of 93 to spend eternity with her Lord and Savior. She loved the Lord and always enjoyed being a part of the church worship service and fellowship afterwards. She was born in St. Joseph, Missouri on May 9, 1929. She graduated from Will Rogers High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She loved working in her flower garden and feeding the many birds that would visit. She also loved to cook, along with decorating her home for all the seasons and holidays. She was a member of Woodland Oaks Church of Christ, The Woodlands, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Jones, her father and mother, Jesse and Grace Cazzell; brothers Bobby, Charles and Kenneth Cazzell. Shirley is survived by son Sid Jones and his wife Janet of Moore, OK; Sid’s children, Melissa Reiter and Dustin Jones; great grandchildren Haley Reiter and Jackson Reiter; daughter Cynthia and her husband Sterling Lockwood of The Woodlands, TX; Cynthia and Sterling’s children Megan Hunt and her husband Dan, and Nathan Lockwood; great grandchild Madeline Hunt. She has one sister, Elizabeth Tippin of Tulsa, OK, and numerous nieces and nephews. Shirley was a very loving wife and mother and dearly loved her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed. The Addison family and staff of Magnolia Funeral Home extend condolences to Shirley's family during this difficult time. A private burial will take place in Oklahoma City, Ok on Saturday, June 25, 2022.
