1946 - 2022 Shirley Younce Giroir of Harahan LA, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt passed away peacefully on June 18, 2022 with her husband of 55 years by her side. She leaves behind her soul mate, David A Giroir of Metairie LA, her daughters, Elizabeth Thiac (Michael), Susan Eisenhauer (Philip) and Jennifer Beltran. She also leaves behind her grandchildren Katherine, Adele, Jordan, James, Josh, Ren, Evan and her great-grandson, Archer along with numerous nieces and nephews. She is reunited in eternal peace and wholeness with the family that preceded her in death, her parents Edmund and Annie Laura Younce and her sisters Merle Lemoine (Fred) and Laura Ferguson (James). She will be greatly missed by her family and all whose lives she touched. A Liturgy will be held on Thursday June 23, 2022 at 2:00 pm in the chapel at Magnolia Funeral Home, 811 S. Magnolia Blvd, Magnolia Texas. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Anne’s Catholic Community’s “The Crusade Annual Stewardship Program” which will help sustain affordable tuition rates for students would be appreciated (https://school.stanne-tomball.org/giving-1).
