Melvyn "Mel" Baldwin

Mel Baldwin passed away unexpectedly on June 16, 2022, at the age of 48. Mel was born in Essex, England on April 7, 1974. His parents were Melvyn John Baldwin and Patricia (Patsy) Baldwin. At a young age, his mother moved him and his sister to the States where they later resided in Houston. Mel married Heather in Las Vegas on June 27, 2008. He was a devoted husband and father with a servant heart and hardworking hands. Mel was a selfless man ready to help anyone in need without the slightest complaint. He volunteered his time at the Waller County Fair and various Waller FFA activities. As a Father, he wore many hats. He was the best pageant dad to Jennifer; traveling to all of her events and lending a hand as needed. You could also often find him at any goat or heifer show where Lane and Cayden would be showing their animals. When not in the barn, he could be found watching his boys play football. He was devoted to his family and always put others before his needs. He was always working to make life better for those around him. He loved his friends and family and was their biggest supporter. Mel is survived by his wife of fourteen years, Heather, his children, Jennifer, Cayden, and Lane; his nephews Christopher Young and Alex Young, his father and mother in-law, Skip and Sharon Beke, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his mother, Patsy Pearce; sister, Heidi Young; as well as his brother in-law Brian Beke. Mel was instrumental in shaping the lives of his children and those around him. He had a sharp mind and unique ability to fix and solve problems. Mel’s infectious smile and personality will be greatly missed by all of those that were blessed enough to love him.
