John Edward Lambert

John Lambert, born September 5, 1934 in Rochester, NY, passed on to Heaven on October 20, 2020, at the age of 86. He was currently a resident of Tomball, Texas. He is preceded in death by his Mother Francis Lambert, Father John W. Lambert, wife of 36 years Simone Lambert, and Son Johnny Lambert. John proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1951, until retiring in 1972 as a Master Sargent. He was a Viet Nam Veteran. After retiring from the military, he served as a US postal employee for 10 year, A volunteer fireman with the City of Benbrook and 10 years with the Benbrook Police Department as a 911 dispatcher. He was a proud member of the VFW, American Legion and the Lutheran Church. He loved all sports and although he spent a great deal of his youth travelling overseas with the USAF, he still considered himself a true Texan. John is survived by daughters Laura Dean and husband Jimmy, Kathy Boling and husband Sid, 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and a sister Nan Starjak.
