Jennie "Ro" Garcia
June 9, 2022
Jennie “Ro” Garcia went home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on June 9, 2022 at the age of 78. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on July 16, 1943 to Sally Gonzalez and Leo Garcia. Being born to unprepared parents, Ro was sent to live with her grandmother Rose Marques. After her grandmother’s passing she went to live with her Aunt Susie and her 8 kids. Susie and her kids became her immediate family. Ro will be remembered for her charitable life. She gave but never expected. She loved with no judgment and believed everyone deserved a chance. She opened her home to anyone who needed a meal or a place to stay. Ro was a very honest person, she wasn’t afraid to speak her mind or declare what she believed to be true for anyone to hear. She enjoyed music and dancing, making others laugh, and late night movies. She will be sorely missed, but her family is thankful for the Hope in seeing her again. She is survived by her son Leo and his wife Clemi Villarreal; her four grandchildren Jacklyn and her husband Javier Leon, Aaron Villarreal, Rocio Villarreal, and Nicholas Villarreal; and her four great-grandchildren Evelyn, Winnifrid, Atticus, and Amaya Leon; her cousins Ed and his wife Patty Gallaga, Molly and her husband Juan Gonzalez, Linda Vierna, Diane and her husband Hector Aviles, Fred and his wife Maria Vierna as well as, all of their children, grand-children and great grand-children; she leaves behind two brothers and their spouses, children and grandchildren, her god-children and other members of her family as well as dear friends. The memorial and graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. Both will be held at Magnolia Funeral Home, 811 South Magnolia Blvd. Magnolia, Tx 77355. The memorial service will be live streamed via YouTube. The Addison family and staff of Magnolia Funeral Home extend condolences to Jennie's family and friends during this difficult time.
