On Sunday, November 21, 2021, Floyd W. Bridgewater passed away peacefully in the presence of his loved ones in Tomball, TX. He was born February 25, 1947 at home in Neelyville, MO. Born to parents Jerry B. Bridgewater and Naomi R. Smith Bridgewater. He attended Neelyville High School. Floyd joined the U.S. Army from Texarkana, TX. He was a Sargent (NCO) as an Infantry Tank Commander from November 1971 to November 1977. He was stationed in Germany and stateside as well. After military service he returned to Texas where he owned and operated Grizzly Plumbing for 38 years in the greater Houston Area. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Karen E. P. Bridgewater, and they lived in the Tomball/Magnolia Area. Daughters: Madonna Edmond and husband, Kevin Amber E. Bridgewater Grandchildren: Joseph R. Edmond and wife, Kristen Brendon L. Edmond and wife, Lauren Harley E. Bridgewater Great Grandchildren: Aidan L. Edmond Gabriel H. Edmond Floyd was a friend to many and always a champion of seniors and veterans. He will be missed.
