On Thursday, July 1, 2021, Diane Fritzsching, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away at age 79. Diane was born in 1942 in Albany, CA. In 1975 she moved to Waller, Texas and for the next 46 years became a huge influence within the Waller community. She had a passion for putting others before herself and she always ensured her customers were first which created trusting relationships that kept them coming back year after year. Her title of Grandmother was definitely her favorite and with this title she brought a new meaning to the word “spoiled”. Diane served as a member of the Waller Women’s Club and Catholic Daughters of America. She was known for her quick wit, her infectious smile, and her kind and compassionate heart. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, John (Rick) Fritzsching, son, Ricky, daughter-in-law, Tracy, grandchildren, Ashley and Emily, six sisters, Janet Medeiros, Kathy Austin, Shirley LeVasseur, Karen Crane, Sandy Walbert, and Lynn Mabie; two brothers, Steve Menge and Patrick Menge. Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick Vernon Menge and Dorothy J. (Trelease) Menge, sisters, Barbara Carnes and Judith McGilvray, and brother Dennis Menge. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Bayou City Fellowship in Cypress. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Diane Fritzsching’s name to the Sky Ranch Scholarship Gift Program at SkyRanch.org/donate - please be sure to include her name in the “Details for the Donation” text box. The Addison family and staff of Magnolia Funeral Home extend condolences to her family and friends during this difficult time. No services will be held through the funeral home.
