David Wayne Hundley

David was born February 3, 1961 in Houston, Texas to parents, Cecil Hundley and Alva Jean Hundley Lochabay and passed away, February 1, 2021 in The Woodlands, Texas. David was a 1979 graduate of Furr High School. He attended San Jacinto College where he became certified in electronics. He had an 18-year career with Austin Independent School District working within the Campus Police Department Life Safety Systems protecting students, staff and schools. David suffered his first battle with cancer in 2015. At the time of his death, David was battling cancer for the 2nd time in his life and this time lost the battle. He is preceded in death by his father Cecil Hundley and his mother Alva Jean Hundley Lochabay. David was a friend to everyone he met. His upbeat and positive attitude was infectious! He loved listening to a variety of music but loved his rock and roll most of all. When he was younger, he loved to tube Texas Rivers, camp outdoors and work in his garden growing beautiful flowers. David had a quirky sense of humor. He was always trying to “quack you up” with jokes and funny stories to keep you smiling and laughing out loud with him. He is survived by his wife, Connie Hundley of Cedar Park, Texas; son, Alex Hundley of Austin,Texas; sister, Dolores Johnson of The Woodlands, Texas; nieces Melissa Johnson and Stephanie Moore and husband Kirk Moore of The Woodlands, TX along with great-nephew Nathan Pershall and great-niece Kinsley Moore of the Woodlands, Texas as well as other relatives, and friends. The Addison family and staff of Magnolia Funeral Home extend condolences to his family and friends during this difficult time.
