Billie Binford Smith, 91, longtime resident of Magnolia, Texas, passed away peacefully at her home in Magnolia on Wednesday, February 2nd. She was preceded in death by her Husband of 58 years Sewall M. Smith Sr. and her youngest son Sewall M. Smith Jr., both of Magnolia. Billie is survived by her Sister, Beth Stephens of Lake Conroe, Willis Tx, her children, Bruce Smith & wife Valary Decker Smith, Brenda Theeck and husband Bubba Theeck. Grandchildren, April Theeck Williams & spouse Kevin Williams, Corissa Theeck Evans & spouse Wade Evans, Monte Smith, Kristen Smith (daughter or Sewall Smith Jr), 4 great grandchildren, Christopher Evans, Madalynn Evans, Chase Williams, Mason Williams, many nieces, nephews, cousins & lifelong friends. Billie was the 10th of 11 children born to Bill and Della Binford of Dacus, Texas, January 10, 1931. She graduated from Montgomery High School in 1948, moved to Conroe & immediately started working. Married Sewall Smith Sr in 1949. Over the years she worked typing abstracts, substitute teaching, County Registrar, secretary to the Montgomery County Judge & served many years as an election judge. Member of The First Baptist Church of Magnolia since 1968. She was a wonderful cook, loved large gatherings, taking time to visit & enjoy everyone. She was devoted to her large family, friends, Church & her Lord. Friends and family are invited to attend visitation Friday, February 11, 2022 from 9:30am to 10:00am at Magnolia Funeral Home. A service will immediately follow with Graveside services at 11:30am, Bethel Cemetery, Bethel Road, Montgomery, Texas. A memorial gift in Billie’s name, in lieu of flowers, can be made to Bethel Cemetery Association, c\o Polly Gardner 14430 Bethel Rd. Montgomery TX 77356 or c/o Magnolia Funeral Home.
