Bernadine Wendecker
October 18, 2021
Bernadine Ann Wendecker was born in Detroit, Michigan to Charlotte and Bernard Majek in 1944. After living many years in Michigan she moved to Houston, Texas in 1982. Bernadine spent much of her career at Conoco Oil where she worked as a technical writer. We called her mom, Gramma, Bern, Bunny, and Gramma Bern. Each name had a special meaning but, the one she wore the best was Gramma. She loved her grandkids and great grand-daughters more than anything. They will miss her more than words can express. She also loved her dog, Sadie. Sadie was the light in her day when she needed it and her constant companion. She is preceded in death by her parents Charlotte and Bernard Majek. She is survived by her daughters, Lynn Wilson, Amy Cole and her husband Monte Cole, and Susan Kelly. Grandchildren, Jenny Wilson, Becky Luna and her husband Matt Luna, Tyler Cole and his wife Kristi Cole, Kristen, Kyle, and Kara Kelly. Great Grandchildren, Landri Luna, Leighton Luna, and McKinley Cole. Her sisters, Judy Garrity and Mary Majek. Her beloved dog, Sadie, and many friends. “Goodbyes are not forever. Goodbyes are not the end. They simply mean I’ll miss you, until we meet again.” The Addison family and staff of Magnolia Funeral Home send our condolences to the Wendecker family during this difficult time.
