Stacey Vyvial-Blackmon

Stacey Vyvial-Blackmon, 49, of Cypress, Texas, passed away peacefully at home on July 30, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born in Houston, Texas, Stacey lived a life rooted in compassion, dedication, and fierce love. She was a devoted wife, a proud mother, a loyal sister, mischievous granddaughter, beloved daughter, and the aunt/great aunt who spoiled with love, laughter, and late-night talks. Stacey was preceded in death by her grandparents Lee and Annie Vyvial, W.O. and Emilie Ritter; her uncle, Larry Kay; and her heavenly nieces and nephew Emilie and Brayden Anderson. She is survived by her husband, Jeremy Blackmon; her sons, Brendon and Dylan Blackmon; her sister, Karen Vyvial; her parents, Lee Vyvial and Johanna Ritter; her nephews, Justin Counts, Chad Counts and their families; and her niece, Amanda Anderson and her family. Stacey dedicated her life to caring for others, passionately pursuing a career in nursing. She found great joy and purpose in her work at multiple OB/GYN offices and with Dr. Mark Francis' office, where her patients and colleagues were touched by her kindness, honesty, and unwavering support. To know Stacey was to know someone who never held back. She was bold, direct, and always spoke her mind—traits that endeared her to those who knew her best. Her heart was enormous, and she loved deeply, fiercely protecting and nurturing the people around her. Her favorite pastime wasn’t found in a hobby or craft, but in checking in on family and friends, making them laugh, and ensuring they felt cared for. Her family and close-knit circle of friends were her greatest pride. When she wasn’t working or caring for loved ones, Stacey enjoyed the simple pleasures of life—especially time spent with her beloved dog, Pebbles. A funeral service celebrating Stacey’s life will be held on Monday, August 4, 2025, at Magnolia Funeral Home in Magnolia, Texas. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m., followed by the service at 2:00 p.m. All who knew and loved Stacey are invited to attend and share in remembering the incredible woman she was. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her legacy of strength, love, and fierce loyalty will live on in everyone whose life she touched.
