Heart of Gold, her life exemplified a servant’s heart. Sandra Bienko 56, of Tomball, TX went home to the Lord on November 4, 2025 Sandra was born in Cayenne, French Guiana to father Etienne Ho-a-thian and mother Chai Yien Ho. Etienne provided a good life for Sandra and her siblings, and her mother Chai Yien poured her heart into her children (Joseph, Rolande, Sandra, and Nathalie). When Sandra was not in Catholic school, she worked in her parent’s general store with her brother and sisters. She was introduced to Christ at a very young age by her Godfather Paulo. At age seven her parents sent Sandra, her brother, and two sisters to live with family in America. Being separated from her parents further strengthened her bond with her siblings, especially her sisters, Rolande and Nathalie. Sandra graduated from Klein Forest High School 1987 in Houston before studying Management Information Systems (MIS) at The University of Houston earning her B.B.A. Sandra was the first in her family to earn a college degree. The work ethic her parents instilled in her at a young age led to Sandra excelling in academics and in her working and professional life. SPOUSE – Sandra met the love of her life, Bryce, in 1992 while attending college. She initially thought he was a frat guy and had no interest. Their first date was at the Houston Zoo. Sandra learned his true person and with Bryce won over by Sandra’s Heart of Gold, both excited to start their new lives together, the two married June 15, 1995, at Bammel Road Church of Christ in Houston. CHILDREN – Sandra and Bryce grew together including travel in their early marriage while they both kicked off their professional careers prior to starting their family together. The good Lord blessed Sandra and Bryce with three beautiful children over the course of seven years: Dillon, Tyler, and Katelyn. Sandra’s children were her passion. She put everything into raising them, always helping them with their schoolwork, preparing amazing meals for them, hugging them/wiping away tears, and cheering them on in their sports. Sandra did all this while working full-time professionally. CHURCH – Sandra was a 15-year member of Bammel Road Church of Christ. She and Bryce once attended a Bible study on Judges lead by then Judge Ted Poe. With her, Bryce, and the kids moving further north within Tomball Sandra and her family became members of Graceview Baptist church. Where Sandra and Bryce worked in the Early Learning Center on Sundays. PETS – Sandra’s love was not only for her family immediate and extended. She loved her amazing Boston Terrier, Ruger. The entire family visited Baytown Bostons where Dillon picked Ruger and vice versa. Ruger is Sandra’s fur kid. HOBBIES – Sandra was as creative as she was technical. She loved all types of arts and crafts enjoying them throughout her life: Potpourri Pillows, Weekenders (scrap booking), wire jewelry, and most recently crocheting with her sisters. Sandra and her daughter Katelyn would join sisters Rolande and Nathalie and niece Melenie for “Crafting Weekends” JOB – Sandra right out of college went to work for Schlumberger (SLB) in Houston. She worked in many of their production lines wearing many titles and attaining several advancements and promotions. Sandra held many titles yet not limited to, Systems Administrator and Oracle Database Administrator. She earned her 20-year service pin and service watch, ultimately extending to 23 years with the company. Sandra worked contract for Exxon Mobil and then hired on with CCI Compressco (Kodiak Gas Services) preceding her retirement. Sandra will always be remembered for her selfless love of her children and her servant’s heart, Heart of Gold, towards all people. Sandra lived out her Christian faith every day. Her love, inner strength, and persistence will live on as her legacy through her three children. Sandra’s inspirational life will carry her family forward and one day we will be reunited.
