Robin Swan Sr.

Robin Leroy Swan, 70 years old, of Houston, Texas passed away on Monday, June 16, 2025. Robin was born in Pittsburg, Kansas to Billy R. Swan and Florence Clinta Hollingsworth. Robin was 1 of 4 brothers: Billy, Larry, and Robert. Robin married the love of his life, Tamara Sue Fishback (Swan), on September, 30, 1983, and they were married 41 years, until the day of his passing. His family was everything to him and their happiness was his top priority, especially for his wife, Suzie (Tamara). He would stop at nothing to make her smile. Robin started his career in the oil and gas business with his father, which further lead to his employment at Dresser Roots as a compressor mechanic. He stayed with his company for 30 long, faithful years before finally retiring in 2018. Robin believed in good old fashioned hard work and his work ethic was unmatched. He believed you worked for what you want in life. There wasn’t a moment where he wasn’t working, either for his company, or coming home and mowing the grass. His heart was set on working hard to provide a good life for his family. Robin enjoyed fishing and just sitting on a dock with a cigarette in hand, a line in the water, and a big jug of sweet tea next to him. Because of his love of the outdoors, he really resonated with the TV show "Yellowstone" and must have rewatched it 10 times. Robin was a family man who always supported his children in whatever they wanted to do. Robin was blessed to have 4 children, Robin Jr., Brandon, Michelle, and Spencer. Robin is survived by his loving wife Suzie (Tamara), his 4 children, his 3 brothers, and 7 amazing grandchildren - who lovingly referred to him as "Granddad" and "Opa". Robin had great pride in the Swan bloodline and his large family - he loved his nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles beyond measure. Robin Swan was a giant among men, truly an incredible man. To say he will be missed greatly by his wife, family and friends would be an understatement. We all love you, cherish our relationship with you and will never forget the impact you made in all our lives. We will carry your love, wisdom and strength within our hearts forever.
