Robert Segari

Robert Anthony Segari went home with the lord on December 20, 2022. Heaven welcomed a mighty man of God. Bob was born in Metairie, Louisiana. Bob was the youngest child born to the late Arthur Anthony Segari and Louise Antoine Segari Bob was preceded in death by his brother, Arthur Segari, and his sister, Merle Segari Norfolk. Bob is survived by his love of 41 years, Cheri Segari, three sons, Derek Segari of Humble, Texas, Ryan Segari (wife Maria Segari) of Houston, Texas, and Matthew Segari (wife Alicia Segari) of Forsythe, Missouri, and daughter, Danae Segari of Metairie, Louisiana. Bob was loved and cherished and known only as “POP’S” to 7 grandchildren, Hannah, Gabriel, Caroline, Camila, Leona, Logan, and Victoria. Bob retired from Continental airlines after 40 years of dedicated service. He loved fishing, riding his ATV and his Kubota tractor. Bob was extremely creative working with old fence boards and made several very beautiful religious wooden crosses that are hanging in many family and friends' homes today. Bob also loved to travel and he was able to satisfy his dream of a trip to Israel in October 2022. He walked the same path as Jesus and was baptized in the Jordan River. Bob was a stranger to no one and will be greatly missed by all who were touched by him. Bob volunteered as a site leadership team member and was packed and ready to go as needed to represent Samaritan’s Purse. As a Chaplin with Billy Graham’s Rapid Response Team, Bob ministered in several areas following a natural disaster. Bob also dedicated his time on several mission trips to the children’s home with Rainbow Ministries in Piedras Negras, Mexico. Bob was an ordained minister through The Universal Church Ministry. Bob was a legacy brother with the Woodlands chapter Legacy Outfitters. Bob’s faith in God left his mark on many hearts. A memorial service will be held January 28th, 2023, at 4:00, at the Woodland Oaks Church of Christ. 7300 Crownridge, Drive, The Woodlands, Texas.
