Robert "Bob" Dale Taylor

In memory of Robert Dale Taylor, who was born on January 24, 1959, in Hudson, MI, to Dale Taylor and Janice Taylor-Morris, we celebrate the life of a remarkable individual. Robert, fondly known as Bob, left an indelible mark on the world before his passing. Bob's journey began with his graduation from North Adams High School in 1977, where he laid the foundation for his future endeavors. In 1980, he embarked on a new chapter in his life and made Houston his home. He initially ventured into the oil field industry, dedicating several years to honing his skills and gaining valuable experience. However, Bob's unwavering ambition led him to a career in waterproofing. Driven by a passion for his work, Bob spent a decade immersing himself in the industry, eagerly absorbing knowledge and perfecting his craft. In 1996, he took a leap of faith and embraced his entrepreneurial spirit, founding Taylor Waterproofing. The company embodied his values and character, with Bob treating his employees as cherished members of his extended family. He fostered a culture of respect and professionalism, where customers were always held in high regard and given the utmost priority. Beyond his professional achievements, Bob found solace and joy in various pursuits. He was an avid hunter, a passionate golfer, and a lover of the great outdoors. No sport was beyond his interest, and he demonstrated unwavering support for numerous youth sports teams throughout the years. Bob's generosity knew no bounds, and his laughter had the power to uplift the spirits of all who were fortunate enough to know him. He particularly relished the thrill of a good game of euchre, spreading joy and camaraderie to those around him. Bob's legacy lives on through his beloved sons, Jacob Taylor of Magnolia, and Mitchell Taylor of Magnolia-Des Moines, IA. He is also survived by his mother, Janice Taylor-Morris, of Magnolia, and his sister, Cheryl (Darrin) Prater of Richmond, KY. Bob's extended family includes numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles, all of whom hold cherished memories of their time spent with him. He was preceded in death by his father, Dale Taylor, and his sister, Katherine Taylor. In reflecting on Bob's life, we are reminded of his profound impact on those around him. His entrepreneurial spirit, dedication to excellence, and unwavering commitment to family and friends will forever be treasured. Bob's memory will live on, inspiring us to embrace life's adventures, nurture our relationships, and embody the values that he held dear. As we bid farewell to our dear friend, may we carry his legacy in our hearts, forever grateful for the time we shared with him.
