Kathleen Hawkins

Kathleen Ann Hawkins, 69, entered the presence of her Lord and Savior on June 27, 2026, where she was reunited with the love of her life, her son, and so many loved ones who had gone before her. Kathy was the kind of person you never forgot. She was strong, funny, feisty, outspoken, and full of love. She shared 46 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Robert Lewis Hawkins. Together they built a life centered around family, laughter, and making memories that would last a lifetime. She was a devoted mother to her sons, Robert Christopher Hawkins, whom she joins in heaven, and Jeremy Scott Hawkins. Being a grandmother and great-grandmother, better known as Mamoo, was one of Kathy's greatest joys. She was incredibly proud of her grandchildren, Katelyn Ann McDaniel and Austin Scott Hawkins, and absolutely adored her great-grandchildren, Kash Christopher McDaniel, Kodi Ann McDaniel, and Kolson Alan-Knox McDaniel. Her happiest moments were the ones spent surrounded by the people she loved most. Kathy dedicated her career to caring for others as a nurse. Her compassion, servant's heart, and willingness to help anyone in need made nursing more than a profession—it was simply who she was. She loved traveling, shopping for a great bargain, trying new restaurants, and making every family vacation an adventure. Whether it was a trip to Disney, a weekend in Las Vegas, or simply gathering everyone around a table full of food, Kathy believed life was meant to be enjoyed together. She never let anyone leave her home hungry and never missed an opportunity to make another memory with the people she loved. Kathy is survived by her son, Jeremy Scott Hawkins; her grandchildren, Katelyn Ann McDaniel and Austin Scott Hawkins; her great-grandchildren, Kash Christopher McDaniel, Kodi Ann McDaniel, and Kolson Alan-Knox McDaniel; her brother, Jeff; her sister, Patricia; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives were forever changed by her love. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lewis Hawkins; her son, Robert Christopher Hawkins; her mother and father, Martha and Jerome, her brother, Steven; and her sister, Lindsay. Kathy's greatest legacy is not found in the places she traveled or the things she accomplished, but in the love she poured into her family every single day. She taught us to laugh often, love fiercely, and cherish every moment together. Although she will be deeply missed, her love will continue to live on in the family she treasured and in the countless memories she leaves behind.
