Janis Inbody

Janis Marie Everson Inbody, was called home to Heaven on March 11, 2023. Janis was born in Madison Wisconsin on December 14, 1935 to parents, Harvey and Ellen Everson. She graduated Boscobel High School in 1953 and began working at the bank immediately following graduation. As a young woman, she moved with her family to McAllen, Tx when her parents moved to begin farming. It was soon after she met and married the love of her life, William “Bill” Inbody. She and William eventually moved to Houston, laying their roots in the Spring Branch area, where he opened his CPA practice and they worked side by side in his business for many years. She was a devoted wife and mother to their children, always active in her church and community. After William passed away, she sold the business but remained an active employee until she retired. During retirement, Janis remained in the Spring Branch area until she chose to move to Tomball to be closer to her daughter and son in law. This move kept her involved in family events and traveling with them also. She was a devoted mother and “Mimi” to her grand children and great grandchildren whom she adored. She spent her final years living with her daughter, and passed away peacefully in their home surrounded by family. Janis is preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 36 years, William Inbody. She is survived by her brothers, Gary Everson of Oklahoma, and Rodney Everson of Dallas, her son Jeff Inbody and his wife Maria, daughter Julie Salter and husband Danny. Her beloved grandsons Hayden Salter and wife Darrean, and Kendall Salter and wife Mitzi. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren: Chris, Brayson, Alan, Brynley, Jaxson, and Braeley. A host of extended family and friends also survive her. Janis was always involved with her family, babysitting, playing, and attending events; helping anytime she was needed. She loved being a part of whatever was going on and will be truly missed by everyone. The family will receive friends at Magnolia Funeral Home located at 811 Magnolia Blvd, Magnolia TX 77355 on Monday, March 20, 2023 from 6-8pm. A funeral service for Janis will be held Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at 11am at Magnolia Funeral Home. Interment will immediately follow at her final resting place in Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
