Daniel Neisch

On Sunday, March 27, 2022, Daniel Alan Neisch, cherished son and brother, devoted husband, loving father, and adored Pops, was welcomed into the loving arms of Jesus after 65 years of a beautiful life well lived. Dan was born to David and Ruth Neisch in Odessa, Texas. He completed his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in forestry from Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches, Texas. Upon graduation, Dan spent his entire career in the oil and gas industry until his retirement in 2015. In 1978, Dan met the love of his life, Marilyn Pendlum. They were married on June 14, 1980 and went on to have three beautiful children, Julie, Michael, and Andrew. First and foremost, Dan was a man of faith whose love and devotion to God were witnessed by all who knew him. He was well-known for his passion and leadership in mission work. He served with Casas por Cristo building homes in Mexico, assisted in Harvey relief efforts, and participated in numerous community outreach activities. Dan’s final act of selfless service was through organ donation. In all things, Dan gave thanksgiving for the provision and faithfulness of God. He found great joy in traveling, fishing, being outdoors, and spending time with his family, whom he loved dearly. The example Dan set in all the excellent ways he lived his life as a servant of God continues to be evident in the legacy he leaves. Dan is survived by his loving wife Marilyn, daughter Julie Haro and husband Ricky, sons Michael Neisch and wife Mandy and Andrew Neisch and wife Bethany, and four precious grandchildren Levi, Abby, Eden, and Luke Neisch. Dan is also survived by his mother Ruth Neisch, sisters Lindy Gerard and husband Steve and Sue DeVos, and brother David Neisch and wife Barbara. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, March 31, 2022, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the courtyard at Bayou City Fellowship - Cypress 12715 Telge Rd, Cypress, Texas. A service celebrating Dan’s life will be held the following day on Friday, April 1, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at Bayou City Fellowship - Tomball 29510 Tomball Parkway, Tomball, Texas.
