Colton Love

Colton Shane Love was born in Lubbock, TX to Chip and Debbie Love. He grew up in Spring, TX with his older sister, Dannie, where he loved to play soccer and football. Colton was passionate about deer hunting with his family at Mema and Papa’s ranch in Star, TX . He loved skiing and all the family winter games held during Christmases in Angel Fire, NM. Colton would spend his days at Nini’s and Papa Ralphs hunting snakes and spiders with their BB gun in Cuero, TX. He graduated from Klein High School in 2008 and moved on to make his dream come true by graduating from Texas A&M, Class of 2012 and becoming a fighting Texas Aggie like his Papa. After graduation, Colton accepted a position in Green River WY as a dispatcher for an oil services company. He immediately bought a Polaris Razor and spent most all his downtime exploring the mountains and rivers of southern Wyoming. This is where he rescued one of his best friends in his life, a golden retriever named Buddy. Family was everything to Colton and he soon made his way back home bringing Buddy with him. He spent the last few years enjoying being with his family and friends, sitting for hours talking to his Grandan and enjoying special times with his nieces, Summer and Ambree. One of his proudest roles in life was as “Uncle Coco”. Colton was strong in his Faith and an avid student of the Word, and we know he is right with God. We are looking forward to seeing him again in Heaven. He was preceded in death by his Nini, Janie Kueker and his Papa Ralph Kueker as well as his cousin, Kyle Love. He is survived by his grandparents, Richard Love (Papa), Marvel Love (Mema) and Dan McCarty (Grandan). His parents, Chip and Debbie Love. His sister, Dannie Love Gibeau and her husband Eric Gibeau and their two daughters, Summer and Ambree. His uncle Dan McCarty and his wife Leanne and their family. His uncle Dale Love and his wife Lisa and their family. His uncle Rick Love and his wife Kayleen and their family. The Addison family and staff of Magnolia Funeral Home extend condolences to Colton's family and friends during this difficult time.
