Cody Clark

Cody Steven Clark, 41, of Arvada, Colorado, formerly of Tomball, Texas passed from this life on June 24, 2025. Cody was born in Dallas, Texas. His family moved to Cypress, Texas, in 1985 where he attended school in the Cypress Fairbanks Independent School District and graduated from Cypress Creek High School in 2003. Though his time in Colorado was brief – less than a year – he rekindled his love for the mountains and enjoyed camping and hiking. Cody had a tender and compassionate heart, much more than most people knew and his life left a lasting impression on those who knew him. Cody loved his brother, Clay, who looked up to him, and loved him dearly. They were very close growing up and shared time enjoying their favorite hobbies: water skiing, snow skiing, mountain biking, and playing sports. Cody was a fierce competitor and taught Clay to have that same spirit. As young children, Cody and Clay idolized their Uncle Kyle whom they lovingly called Uncle Bucket. They also loved spending time with their Uncle Jeff in Brenham at his barn out in the country. Cody will be missed more than he could have ever imagined by his family and friends and we will always remember his big welcoming smile. Cody was preceded in death by his father, George Steven Clark, and his paternal grandfather, Hugh Helvey Clark. Cody is survived by his mother, Shelley Rogers, and stepfather of 21 years, Henry Rogers, who was his greatest advocate; his brother Clayton Clark and sister-in-law, Haley Clark; his nephew, Cooper Clark, and niece, Chloe Clark: maternal grandparents Robert and Martha Berry; paternal grandmother Connie Clark; stepbrother, Nathan Rogers and his daughter, Ashley Rogers, fiancée, Melissa Cain, her son Corbin, and numerous aunts and uncles, and cousins. Though Cody’s life ended far too soon, his memory remains a light for those who loved him. May we hold on to the hope that even in our deepest sorrow, love endures, and healing can be found in the care we show one another. Cody’s tender heart will live on in the kindness we give because of the lives that he touched.
