Andrew Talley

Andrew Ford Talley, 44, of Magnolia, Texas, passed away on July 31, 2025. Born in Arlington, Texas, Andrew was known for his big heart, humor, and inability to take any type of serious picture. He dedicated his early career to helping children while working at the Children's Home of Lubbock, after receiving his master’s degree in Clinical and Counseling Psychology. With an entrepreneurial spirit inspired by his grandfather, Andrew and his mother began buying and managing short-term rentals in Cloudcroft and Ruidoso, New Mexico. After meeting the love of his life, Maranda, Andrew made the bold decision to follow his heart to Magnolia, Texas to be with Maranda. There, the two began a new chapter together and proudly opened Anytime Fitness—bringing their shared vision of wellness and community to life. Andrew was a lifelong fan of Major League Baseball—especially the Houston Astros—and an avid follower of The Texas Longhorns. One of his dreams was to visit all 30 MLB stadiums, a journey he was well on his way to completing. He loved traveling to Las Vegas, where he could often be found enjoying a game of Pai Gow. You would often hear Andrew listening to songs by Ludo, one of his favorite bands. Andrew was a devoted husband to Maranda Talley and a loving stepfather to Gavin and Jess Folsom, who he was very proud of and looked forward to watching them grow into successful young men. He was the treasured son of Clovia Talley and the late Michael Ford Talley; the proud brother of Sarah Talley Cassara and brother in law to her husband, Mark Cassara; and the beloved grandson of Lucille Riggan. He is also survived by nephews Pascal and Kelvin Cassara and Stryker Shaw, nieces Mattie Owens and Lizzie Brown, and many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly. A celebration of Andrew’s life will be held at Magnolia Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens on August 5, 2025 with a viewing at 2:00 pm and services to follow. Following the service, family and friends are invited to Andrew’s favorite spot, The Draft Sportsbar and Grill in Magnolia, to share a drink and memories. All who knew and loved him are welcome to attend.
