What a sweet, sweet man JR was. I so enjoyed interacting with him in the neighborhood and have had him on my mind so strongly these last few months and was planning on calling him just to chat. Although the pain and sadness is so great on earth, I do rejoice knowing that he is now in heaven. Dorothy, I am still just down the street at 30611 Meadow Wood Drive. If you ever just need to talk or if you need anything (day or night), please give me a call at 281-252-0260. My condolences go out to all the family. What a void JR has left, such a class act. I truly miss him. (I was searching the net to find out funeral information, and apologize that I didn't check soon enough to make it to the services.) Love and prayers to all.

What a blessing for our family to be able to have a gentle, loving man around in our life that was a mentor to so many of us & other people in this world. Thank You Jesus. To Aunt Dorthy & my cousins, Beverly, Daryl, Richard & all of your family, I would like to express my condolences & say I am heartbroken too. I am praying for you all & give God all the glory that is deserved for making a man like Uncle JR for our family. He will most definately be missed & I am sorry I am not there to celebrate Uncle JR's departure from earth to heaven. I will be there in spirit & hope you understand. I love you all, Dan Schumann

My condolences go out to your families. Although I did not know J.R., I do know his son Richard. If Richard is an indication of the sort of many J.R. was,then the world was blessed. My prayers and love are with you all.
